Foodie Alert! Food Festivals and Events in Italy This September

As we all know, one of the many things that Italy is best known for is its food, and this becomes much more apparent during the autumn season. This is because during these months, the harvests begin, and there is much of the local produce to sample as people begin to store and process these products for the winter months. However, autumn isn’t JUST about celebrating local produce, but rather, celebrating food in general, and what better place to do it all in than a country such as Italy?

So if you’re a traveler who is up for some culinary adventure while touring this country during the beautiful fall months, here are some food festivals and events in Italy this September that you mustn’t miss!
