In December, Rome’s famous Baroque square gets covered with stalls offering all sorts of Christmas ornaments, toys, goodies, decorations, torrone, liquorice and much more. Everything’s a delight especially to kids. Towards the end of December, a large Christmas tree is erected.
Be sure to bring enough money especially if you are bringing the kids along. You will never run out of things to buy.
This Christmas market runs for the whole month of December until the 6th of January when the Befana arrives. La Befana!!! Well, that would be another story to tell.
