Venice is one of those places that words cannot quite capture. Stunning. Romantic. Mysterious. Venice is also not as easy as one might think to capture in a photograph. When that happens, the image, the moment, are something to behold. The one above is pretty atmospheric. When you think about visiting Venice, remember Save Venice, the New York-based nonprofit that’s been spearheading Venetian restoration projects for over 40 years. It’s a wonderful organization. Its current major project is the Church of San Sebastiano, which is adorned with work by Paolo Veronese (1528–1588).
