Day 1: Rome
Welcome to Rome! Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.Overnight in Rome.
Day 2: Rome(Breakfast)
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day roaming around Rome’s street and Monuments at leisure. At 8:30pm, meet the local guide at Rome downtown (place will be specified on your vouchers) for a night tour. Enjoy a relaxing panoramic tour of Rome and discover the magic charm of the most famous monuments illuminated at night (Fontana di Trevi, Roman Forum, Circo Massimo, Colosseum and Lungovetere). Have a nice walk to Trevi Fountain and Travestere. Return to the hotel and overnight.
Day 3: Rome- Naples – Pompeii – Amalfi(Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)
After breakfast at hotel, we depart by deluxe motor coach at around 7:00am. The journey begins heading south along the so-called Sun Highway, crossing the fertile Roman Countryside and the area known as Castelli Romani, dotted with enchanting medieval villages and arriving in Naples, one of the largest and well known city in Italy. Short panoramic tour climbing up to Vomero Hill to enjoy beautiful views over the Gulf of Naples with the Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia and Procida and the city below; time to take some nice pictures and then return to Mergellina where you will have time for a short walk on the marina, before being boarded to the bus heading to the restaurant for lunch.
The lunch break will be served in a first class hotel in Ercolano, set in monumental grounds with one the of the best examples of what eclectic gardens were during the 1700s. After lunch you will reach Pompeii to enter into the world-famous site with skip the line tickets. Visit the haunting ruins of Pompeii, traveling back in time to the tragic days in 79AD when the silent Mount Vesuvius suddenly erupted, covering the prosperous Roman city in deadly volcanic ashes and poisonous gases and leaving it crystallized until our days. You will learn how people lived at that time, visign houses and bars, admiring frescoes and mosaics to imagine how rich was the city before that terrible day.
After the visit, you will drive along the Sorrentine Coast, arriving in Sorrento for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Sorrento(Breakfast and Dinner)
Following breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have plenty of free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal town. You’’ll have dinner here and enjoy another overnight stay in this beautiful town.
Day 5: Venice(Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Capri. Depending on weather conditions, you will take a boat ride to the popular and reamy “Grotta Azzura” (Blue Grotto), where sunlight passes into an underwater and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. After returning to the port you will board on a minibus for a scenic drive to Anacapri, 918 feet above the sea level. You will see wonderful views of the bay of Naples before continuing to a local restaurant for lunch.
After lunch you can take advantage of some free time to explore Capri at your leisure or to go shopping. In the afternoon you will check-in at the hotel for a well deserved rest.
Day 6: Capri(Breakfast)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and free time to explore the beautiful and sunny island of Capri, often nicknamed “The Garden of Eden”. Capri has been a popular resort town since the early days of the Roman Republic. Today, it may be possible to make a visit to AnaCapri – situated on the slopes of Monte Solario, The Port of Marina, the rocks of I Faraglioni, or the famous Villa Jovis, an opulent residence built for the emperor Tiberius. Stay overnight in Capri.
Day 7: Capri – Sorrento – Positano(Breakfast)
After breakfast depart to Sorrento by ferry. Once on the mainland you will board on a coach for Positano, driving along the Amalfi Coast on the most famous road of the Campania region. Once in Positano, check-in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 8: Positano(Breakfast)
Enjoy breakfast at enjoy the day at leisure. See all that Positano has to offer as you set off to explore this ancient fishermen’s village. Known for is cubis Empire houses perched upon cliffs looking over turquoise water, Positano is the most well-known summer resort area in the whole peninsula. Walk to the heart of town on Via Pasitea and weave your way through the city’s narrow streets, terraces and gardens overlooking the bay.
Day 9: Positano(Breakfast)
After breakfast depart to Naples. Situated along a lovely bay, Naples is known for its islands, the neighborhood of Posillipo and Mount Vesuvius. Check in to the hotel for a overnight stay.
Day 10: Naples(Breakfast)
Pick-up at the hotel at approximately 8:15am to start the 2 hours panoramic tour, discovering the most important monuments of this lively city; the Cathedral with is treasure Chapel, S. Restituda Basilica, Plebiscite Square where you will admire the Royal Palace (outside) and the majestic church of St. Francesco di Paola. Drive to the Town Hall Square where you can see the new Castle build by the French family Anjou and end the tour at Posillipo on a terrace to the best view of the city. The tour will end in the city center. Rest of the day at leisure to continue to visit and explore the beauties of this city.
Day 11: Naples – Home(Breakfast)
After breakfast transfer to Naples airport or train station.
