Major Cities:
Milano (Milan)

The northern region of Lombady is the Italy’s richest and most densely populated area. Milan, the region’s capital, is a world-class center of finance and fashion, as well as the site of such famous monuments as La Scala, the famed opera house; Da Vinci’s The Last Supper; and the Duomo, one of the world’s largest gothic cathedrals. But Lombardy isn’t all big cities…There are also small charming towns such as Mantua and Cremona. The walled city of Bergamo deserves a visit. Just north of Milan are Lakes Como and Maggiore, the perfect combination of mountains and water.
