"The trip was fabulous!! Everything we planned was perfect."
The cooking class we did set the bar for all cooking classes!!!! It was so special, and the owner himself was there, and opened what seemed like unending bottles of champagne for us while we cooked, along with cheese, and some treats – before we even sat down for dinner.
On our last free day – we took the ferry to Burano – which was a great choice – what a charming village.
The ‘Piece de resistance’ was the Mascheranda ball – it was really an amazing event. We had so much fun… and stayed out dancing until about 3 a.m.
Thanks again for all your help with this trip – truly up there with the best I’ve had!

"Definitely recommend the Dolce Vita Tour for a first time trip to Italy."
Let me start by saying we had a wonderful and memorable trip to Italy. October is a great time to travel to Italy, however how can you not have a great time in Italy at any time of the year. Chandra and I had a great time on the Dolce Vita Tour October 2011 with Tour Italy Now. We got a good taste of Italy traveling through Rome, Florence and Venice stopping in some quaint cities like Assisi, Siena, Bologna, Padova and Montepulciano. The art, architecture, artisanship of ancient and present Italy is worth noting and keeps you in awe every step of the way. The food and wine were great and the desserts were to die for. Our tour director was awesome, giving us great ideas to explore the cities on our own too. We took the metro, bus, cabs, and boat rides and had very good experiences. People were very helpful and courteous. Every detail of the trip was taken care of, from pick up at the airport, tours through cities and drop off at airport. Great thing about tours is you do not have to stand in line to get into the major city sites which can have long lines. Definitely recommend the Dolce Vita Tour for a first time trip to Italy. It will make you want to go back. Thanks to Tour Italy Now.

Our trip to Italy, amazing. We had such a great time, and were literally in awe of everything we experienced. We were trying to think of one particular part of our trip that was the best but couldn't come up with just one, everywhere we went had something special to offer. I must admit, that the tour guide we had in Florence where we did the walking tour and Museum, was the best. He was so passionate about the history of Florence which transferred the interest to us just that much more. His enthusiasm was terrific. So overall the tour itself was great, no complaints. We thought they all did a good job as that's a lot of people to co-ordinate and look after.
Our stay in Orvieto was wonderful, perfect way to end a 10 day tour, was so nice to have that down time. The staff there were so good, and made you feel at home. The weather was perfect the whole time we were there, couldn't of asked for anything better.
We can't thank Tour Italy Now enough for all the guidance and help provided in setting up our trip, we'll never forget it. Thanks again for everything.

"No hitches, no glitches - great holiday."
It's hard to believe we have been home months now. I think the Bus Tour was great! The tour guides were excellent, amazing actually, personality plus, extremely knowledgable, accommodating and efficient and eager to please and help. It was a great trip and Italy is 'magnifico'! Of course I had to make a purchase at the Murano Glass Factory that we visited. No hitches, no glitches - great holiday.

"I saw SO MUCH in so little time and it wouldn't have been possible alone."
Our trip was great. My main interest in booking a tour-based vacation was the promised element of safety. Our tour leaders were very friendly, knew the areas we traveled very well, and the buses were both comfortable and safe. I saw SO MUCH in so little time and it wouldn't have been possible alone. Thank you very much for all your help. I am very glad I had this experience and am excited to travel back there one day.
The picture is of our tight-knit group. Within a few days, we all found each other at the same dinner table every night. From left to right, Louisa, a retired banker from Hong Kong. In the middle, Bev and Jan, two Australian best friends, and then me and my Aunt, also named Bev. I was having a bit of trouble getting adjusted to being in a foreign country, but I found solace in the three strangers in the photograph. I never expected to go on a tour and make friends, especially friends so different in geography, age, and experiences. We had a great time together and I'm so grateful to have met them. This is us outside our Venice hotel.

We had a great trip to Italy! The hotel stays were very accommodating. The tours provided were perfect and well planned. Italy was awesome! May was a really good time of year to go, no big crowds anywhere and the weather was wonderful. It was cool how you were able to piece the trip together with all the smaller tours, that worked really well. It was also a great balance of guided tours and free time to do stuff on our own. It’s hard to compare all the cities since they are so different from each other, we loved them all! Rome is so historic, Sorrento is so picturesque, Florence is really pretty and artsy but a smaller city and very easy to get around, and Venice is an experience all in itself. I think our favorite was probably Sorrento. The trip out to Capri was really awesome as well, and the weather was nice enough that we got to do the Blue Grotto, definitely the highlight of the trip! Needless to say, we took 1100 pictures and 1.5 hours of video, so we have a lot to look back on. The private transfers were definitely a great bonus to have and the hotels were all really nice and in great locations, especially for walking to and from the train stations in Florence and Venice. The food was delicious, we ate gelato every single day and sometimes even twice a day! We will definitely have to go back again. Thanks for all your help, we loved the trip!

"Our guided Vatican City tour was great"
Our Italy trip was fabulous! Things went very smoothly. We were happy with our hotel selections. Especially in Venice, it was a great hotel! Venice was by far our favorite stop. The staff was very friendly and the location of the hotel could not be beat. They had the best breakfast too. We had a large room with plenty of space. It was great.
All the transfers that were included were on time and worked out perfectly. Our guided Vatican City tour was great as well. My husband and I actually attended the Papal Audience on Wednesday and had front row seats. Overall, we had a fabulous trip. Thank you very much for putting this package together for us. Europe was amazing and I will most definitely keep you in mind for our next Europe trip! Thanks again!

Our trip to Italy was fantastic! We were very well taken care of at every step. Everyone was fantastic. We got to see all the highlights of Rome, the gorgeous views of the Amalfi Coast, and Capri was amazing. Also, we enjoyed the walking tour of Naples and the tour through the ruins of Pompeii. Have you always wanted to take that perfect dream Italy vacation? My daughter and I did. We surfed the Internet and found the perfect tour--- Tour Italy Now’s Marco Polo Tour. Our itinerary was planned out with scheduled tours in Venice, Rome, Florence and Tuscany, with, a few personalized optional tours, drop-off service, breakfast and great four-star hotels which reflect the culture of the city you are in.
Our tour also included side trips to Pisa, Murano and the Tuscan countryside. We found the services remarkably accommodating, the hotel staffs were extremely helpful and our tour guides were very knowledgeable. We had comfortable buses and trains and our walking tours were well designed. We also discovered reasonably priced restaurants near our hotels and the hotels' restaurant service was just as wonderful. Taxis were available in our hotels and the fares were like those in Manhattan.
I am amazed that most Italians were tolerant of my college Italian and they were grateful that I attempted to speak to them in their native tongue. But do not worry if you don’t speak the language, almost everything you need for the tour is planned out for you and you will find a way to communicate. The hotel staffs of Carlton on the Grand Canal, the Atlantic Place in Florence and Hotel Diana speak English and can give you helpful directions in going around town.

Our heads are still in the clouds. I am not sure if I can use one word that truly expresses how we feel about our trip to Italy. It was awesome, exciting, expressive, beautiful, excellent, tour-friendly, fun and funny. I can go on and on.
We truly enjoyed every moment of it. Pompeii was hot, but historic. Assisi, Siena and Bologna were intimate yet exciting. Rome was interesting and larger than what we thought. Montepulciano was simply awesome. I really loved our hotel in Venice, it was right on the water. Our gondola ride was simply the best and our “guy” even sang happy birthday to us in Italian and that was just so sweet. Capri and Sorrento took our breath away. I even told Yvette, our Tour Italy Now guide, to spread my ashes over Capri/Sorrento when I die in 122 years.
Our tour guide Stefano was awesome, organized and so much fun to be with. He really enjoys what he does. He was very protective of us and made sure that we are all okay.
Our bus tour has 41 people and by the end of the tour we are all friends. We also got the chance to hang out, shop and eat together with our new friends from India, Canada, New Zealand, Brazil, Australia, Singapore, Netherlands, Miami, Tennessee and New York. It seems that people gravitated to us. We took about 1,200 photos and I have attached one from our Venice gondola adventure.
It was truly a grand trip. Thank you for your help and we will definitely recommend it.

The tour was wonderful and I have 632 pictures of it. My mother couldn’t believe how much we did and saw. We met a lot of people on the tour and I have kept in touch with them. I actually created a blog just for our group and called it “Italy Tour Group” and we also have one in Facebook.
We talked with people at restaurants and at the airport. When we compared notes, they were surprised that our tour costs less and everything was taken care of, compared to what they did. Buongiorno! We had a great time in Italy. I really loved Venice. We got to see the Pope and that was a nice bonus to our trip in Rome. The trains were fantastic and our walking tours served as a great exercise. It is truly a great way to get around.
I also loved the coastal town of Capri, we even took a boat ride to get there and the weather was just wonderful. Our stay at the classy Sorrento Hotel was enjoyable; we even had champagne for breakfast. It was truly lovely and the hotel was simply fantastico. Job well done! Grazie!

Mike and I wanted to thank you dearly for setting up such a lovely honeymoon package. The hotels were beautiful, had great amenities and were conveniently located. Italians are such friendly people. Everyone went out of their way to help us when we needed it.
The restaurants in Rome and Sorrento were fantastic. Mike and I explored a different one every night of our stay and we even found an Indian and Chinese restaurant in Rome. In Sorrento, my husband fell in love with the limoncello and we even brought some for our bar at home. We also fell in love with the gelato, which is much better than American ice cream.
The tour packages to Amalfi Coast and Mount Vesuvius were also great. We were able to climb Mount Vesuvius and even had the chance to visit Capri where we did the azzuro grotto tour and had a boat ride around the entire island.
Mike and I enjoyed learning about the Italian people and culture. Again, we want to thank you for doing a great job putting together a honeymoon worth remembering. We will certainly contact you for our next visit to Italy and we will let our friends know about your services.

We went on a custom tour of Rome, Florence and Venice, and our trip was incredible (molto bello!). Thanks again for helping make it so. I would highly recommend Villa Colle, a bed and breakfast 15 minutes outside Florence. The owners are wonderful and their villa is quite nice and comfortable. The pictures are true to life. "We feel that we saw so much more of Italy, and learned of its history and culture as a result of the tour"
Our tour director did a marvelous job showing us around. She was most informative, had a wonderful sense of humor and was most personable. The bus driver, while not able to speak fluent English, was very expressive, an excellent driver, and added a great deal to the tour. The time that we spent at each stop was appropriate, just enough to get a feel for the area and history, and provided us with enough time to shop.
We feel that we saw so much more of Italy, and learned of its history and culture as a result of the tour. We would never have gained as much on our own. We had a wonderful time, and everything exceeded our highest expectations. We were not ready to come home and wanted to stay for at least another week or month!
