Day 1: Rome – Montepulciano – Montalcino – San Quirico – Pienza – Montepulciano

Your private car will collect you from your hotel in Rome for private transfer to Montepulciano. Your driver is also your private tour guide. Day 2: Montepulciano

Make your way to the Piazza Grande in Montepulciano to meet your guide for a morning wine tour that finishes up with lunch in town. Your afternoon is free for discovering Montepulciano, or relax in the spa at Hotel Etruria. Overnight in Montepulciano

Day 3: Montepulciano – Cortona – Siena

Your driver will collect you from your hotel for transfer to Siena by private car. Stop and visit the Tuscany hill town of Cortona en route, where you’ll learn about the famous Etruscan tombs; the celles (tiny houses built in hollows in the mountain) that were home to St Francis in the twelfth century; and a religious and cultural history that is reflected everywhere from the Benedictine Abbey of Farneta to the Diocesan Museum. After exploring Cortona its time to continue your picturesque journey. Check in to your hotel on arrival in Siena, then make the most of free time to explore the town.In the evening you’ll enjoy the best traditional Tuscan food as you dine out in a local Trattoria. Return to your hotel and overnight in Siena.

Day 4: Siena – San Gimignano – Chianti – Siena

Get an early start for your full day visit to San Gimignano and explore the world famous wine region of Chianti. Travel through the Tuscany countryside in comfort on an air-conditioned coach with your experienced local guide. After a day of touring, return to your hotel and enjoy free time in the evening to relax or venture out to discover more culinary delights. Overnight in Siena.

Day 5: Siena
